An addition to the Simsbury Meadows recreational complex, Rotary Park was designed to be one of the first playgrounds in the greater Hartford area universally accessible for all children.

Situated within the Simsbury Meadows recreation area and Farmington River Floodplain, Rotary Park presented numerous environmental and design challenges. Our landscape architects played a vital role in initial concept design, permitting, construction drawings, and construction administration.

Stemming from community workshops and a collaborative effort among designers, town officials, and special interest groups, Rotary Park has become a popular destination for families in the Farmington Valley.
