Fuss & O’Neill’s Active Design Group was formed to collaborate, provide thought leadership, and explore new ways of designing for non-vehicular transportation. “Active Design” refers to any mode of transportation that requires the body’s exertion: walking, running, cycling, skating, etc. The Active Design Group meets quarterly to review current projects, share new ideas, develop new skills, and learn about current trends in non-auto-centric transit.

The IBC is a group of forward-thinking employees that identify, develop, test, and launch new software/technology, improved methodologies, and streamlined processes. They meet regularly to evaluate inefficiencies and develop better practices. The IBC welcomes ideas from all employees and all employees are welcome to be members of the IBC. The IBC hosts an interactive website so that all employees are kept up to date on current initiatives and to provide easy access to idea submission.

Our Mission

To seek out, evaluate, and engage in items that may improve efficiencies by automating existing work processes, providing improved client deliverables, or expanding service offerings.

The IBC is led by Dave Cook, Fuss & O’Neill’s Senior Computer | GIS Analyst. Dave recognized that many of his coworkers, throughout various departments, shared his desire to instill efficiencies and that, as a group, they could implement real change. Thus the IBC was created!
