Fuss & O’Neill provided the conceptual design services required for the revision and revitalization of Bloomfield’s prominent Town Center green.

The design goals for the green included increasing visibility and making it a prominent feature, providing safe pedestrian connections to surround land uses, forming a connection to Filley Park, and providing a comfortable space for residents and visitors to congregate. Concept design components included a bandshell design, expanded usable open space, plaza and sitting areas, a walking path, lighting, gardens, the origination of the Town’s memorials, and traffic calming measures that incorporated ConnDOT’s initiative of a double roundabout.
