Fuss & O’Neill provided multidisciplinary engineering services for a new 40,000 ft state-of-the-art medical center.

Fuss & O’Neill provided design and permitting services for a wastewater treatment and disposal system. Treatment components, including a leaching system, were coordinated with Low Impact Development design elements, including stormwater treatment swales and bioretention areas.

We performed extensive soil testing and groundwater flow calculations to demonstrate the adequacy of receiving soils to treat wastewater as required by local and state regulations. Significant interaction with local and state
Health Department staff was required to obtain a permit to construct and a permit to discharge.

We designed a wastewater system that accommodated flows for current needs and future expansion, and minimized energy costs and operation and maintenance requirements.
