Fuss & O’Neill evaluated 10 existing pump stations within the Town of Putnam’s collection system. The evaluation included documenting existing conditions, reviewing existing electrical, structural, and HVAC components, documenting deficiencies, and recommending improvements.

Upon completion, preliminary recommendations for improvements at each station were identified and budgetary opinions of overall improvement costs were summarized. Land use, wetlands, floodplains, water quality, biological resources, and socioeconomic factors were evaluated. Mitigation measures were delineated.

Fuss & O’Neill assisted the Town in completing an application for USDA Rural Development funding. Full funding ($4 million dollars) for station improvements was obtained and approved in referendum.
