Fuss & O’Neill has been providing multidiscipline engineering, consulting, planning, and permitting services to the Port of Providence since 1995.

Throughout the duration of our relationship, we have assisted the Port operators, the City of Providence, and the State of Rhode Island with planning, permitting, and implementing port infrastructure improvement projects. We have provided maintenance and monitoring of existing port facilities, and assisted with the buildout of individual tenant facilities within the port environment.

Projects have included landfill remediation, port expansion, a bulk cement facility buildout, and port-wide compliance services. Our work has included extensive design services and permitting with the RI Department of Environmental Management, RI Coastal Resources Management Counsel, and Army Corps of Engineers.
