North Coventry Fire Station

Fuss & O’Neill Design Build worked with the North Coventry Volunteer Fire Department, town agencies, and the building committee to facilitate the design, approval, and construction of a new fire station.

The scope of the project included programmatic project development, full site design, and permitting. The design and development stages required civil, MEP, and environmental engineering services, emphasizing stormwater management and low impact development.

The existing facility was demolished, and the adjacent road was reconfigured to accommodate the new building. We provided budgeting and referendum support for construction of the 11,000 square foot station, which includes eight bays of apparatus space and 6,000 square feet of office space.

Fuss & O’Neill coordinated the fast-paced design, funding, permitting, and construction of the station in 14 months; and today the new station is a Coventry landmark.
