Lexington Engineering Services

Fuss & O’Neill has performed multiple assignments for the Town of Lexington for projects that promote green infrastructure and enhance climate resiliency.

Projects have included a Green Infrastructure Feasibility Study for roadway projects. The study analyzes the potential for inclusion of Green Infrastructure (GI) practices and related structural stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs) within planned road improvement projects in 2018 and/or 2019. Various GI practices and BMPs based on water quality and runoff reduction benefits, ease of implementation, and maintenance requirements have been evaluated so that green infrastructure can be more regularly incorporated into infrastructure improvements Town-wide.
Fuss & O’Neill is the Town’s state-certified Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) consultant. Fuss & O’Neill guided the Town through a climate resiliency planning process under an FY18 EEA MVP Planning Grant, enabling the Town to achieve designation as an MVP Community and simultaneously developing an up-to-date Hazard Mitigation Plan for the Town.
