Fuss & O’Neill has been assisting the city with maintaining and repairing components of the flood control system. Services include:

• Preparing design and permitting documents and providing construction administration services for repairs to the levee system.
• Providing administrative and technical coordination with FEMA and USACE.
• Performing a hydrologic and hydraulic interior drainage joint probability analysis.
• Inspecting flood control structures and designing repairs.
• Evaluating mechanical, structural, and electrical condition of six pumping stations.
• Designing and overseeing repairs at the South Meadows Pumping Station.
• Preparing design and permitting documents and providing construction administration for removal of ≈ 8,200 cubic yards of sediment from the auxiliary conduit.
• Preparing contract documents and providing construction administration services for the rehabilitation of the Folly Brook Conduit.
• Providing construction administration services for the removal of ≈ 43,000 cubic yards of sediment to restore the North and South Meadows storage ponds.
• Conducting a hypothetical levee breach analyses for emergency planning purposes.
• Updating the Operations and Maintenance Manual for the entire system.
