Fuss and O’Neill designed several new structures over and around Keney Park Pond as part of the environmental restoration of the existing pond.
We designed two fishing piers and a band platform over the water constructed of steel pipe piles, galvanized steel framing, TREX decking, and painted steel railings. For a new prefabricated steel pedestrian bridge over the pond and a new prefabricated steel gazebo, we designed concrete abutments and a concrete foundation, respectively. We designed new and renovated concrete headwalls with stone pattern form-liner facings at drainage culverts.
Fuss & O’Neill also provided engineering services, including: field survey, geotechnical investigation and foundation design, and structural design. We coordinated aesthetics with the client and the landscape architect.
