Indian Run Reservoir Dam

Fuss & O’Neill designed the replacement of the deteriorating stone masonry spillway with a new concrete spillway in the 400-foot long earthen embankment located between a municipal park and a residential retirement community.

Our services included the design of a cast-in-place concrete spillway, training walls, cutoff walls and aprons, drawdown chamber with weir logs and a sluice gate to lower pond levels for future maintenance.

We also designed a semi-circular spillway configuration for aesthetics, and a three-span timber footbridge over the downstream channel for public access and enjoyment.
