Fuss & O’Neill was retained to assist in the redevelopment and rehabilitation of the barracks and the Redoubt Jail of Fort Adams State Park. The goal of the redesign was to maintain historical integrity. Our staff provided civil and MEP engineering services for the restoration of a portion of the Northeast Bastion for overnight Youth Barracks.

Fuss & O’Neill completed a utilities infrastructure assessment as part of a Master Plan for future restoration and reuse projects at the Fort. We provided site design services to mimic the historical site layout, grading, and building access. We utilized subsurface, low-impact development stormwater management techniques to reduce stormwater runoff without altering the historical layout of the Redoubt Jail site.
