Fuss & O’Neill provided civil engineering services for the renovation and expansion of the Fire Training Center. This facility provides training opportunities to approximately 9,000 firefighters from 24 different departments each year. In order to provide better training for first responders and overcome deficiencies with the existing facilities, the design-build team was tasked with designing a new facility to meet current demands.

The design-build team was tasked with designing a new facility to meet current demands. New driveways, parking areas, and walkways were designed in order to create functionality of the improved site.

A drainage system was designed to capture and treat stormwater. New sanitary sewer service and various other utilities were designed to service the new buildings and other site amenities.
