Fuss & O’Neill was retained to review equipment within the plant, to develop equipment-specific energy control procedures, to conduct employee training (authorized, affected, and other), to post procedures on equipment, and to perform period inspections. Procedures were to be developed in conformance with regulatory criteria established by OSHA and to conform with corporate standardized format.
Fuss & O’Neill reviewed more than 100 pieces of equipment, collected photographs, and developed equipment-specific procedures following the format established by a corporate program. Procedures were validated through collaboration with equipment operators and maintenance personnel. Training included classroom and hands-on skills demonstration for authorized employees and classroom-only training for affected and other employees.
