Fuss & O’Neill is currently working on two separate projects at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH.

A 20,000 ft2 addition is currently being designed as part of the hospital’s Cancer Center Expansion. Along with identifying the most appropriate location on site, challenges included steep grades and buried utilities that needed to be relocated. Additionally, our team designed a healing garden to give patients receiving treatment a peaceful recovery oasis.

Currently under construction is a new parking structure on the Elliot campus. Since the campus was losing 50 parking spots due to the Cancer Center expansion, our team led the design of a three-level parking structure, with separate access points to each level, that will help alleviate parking issues for staff and patients. We continued to work throughout construction as our team provided owner-requested design changes, construction administration, and stormwater pollution prevention plan inspections.

A new three-level parking structure will provide an additional on-site opportunity for parking for Elliot Hospital staff.  Construction crews were able to work through the winter to satisfy an aggressive construction schedule.
