Fuss & O’Neill completed a 20,000 square foot addition onto the existing 48,000 square foot Dennison Lubricants facility, as well as the addition of 6 storage tanks for bulk lubricating oil. We completed the preliminary design, local permitting, wetlands permitting, and construction documents, and oversaw construction of the facility.

The project included numerous site improvements associated with the large building addition and tank farm. Due to the increase in impervious area, significant stormwater management was required to mitigate increased flows. Due to previous site contamination, the project was designed to avoid impacts to critical areas while improving all aspects of site circulation to support Dennison’s operations. The site is within the riverfront area of the Blackstone River, and required the filing of a Notice of Intent with the Worcester Conservation Commission, as well as site plan and zoning approvals from the Worcester Planning Board. The design and construction phasing was arranged so that there was minimal impact to Dennison’s operations, allowing the facility to remain open at full capacity during construction.
