As site engineer for JCPenney, Fuss & O’Neill converted the existing outlet store and catalog sales distribution center into a SSC. Our team combined engineering design with permitting and complete construction management for this project.

The JCPenney Store Support Center facility encompassed 25,000 square feet of office space; new bathrooms; a 5,000 square foot break room; and a 2,500 square foot computer center. Our team equipped the new computer center with a manager server room, UPS, and data communications. Complete electrical power distribution, HVAC, fire protection and a plumbing system were also designed and installed. Through a cooperative effort with the facility owner and the town, permits were expedited to enable a fast tracked build-out.

Fuss & O’Neill Design/Build Services renovated the warehouse, adding 25 loading docks and doors cut into existing concrete walls. We also designed and constructed 11 acres of parking lot for trailer parking.
