Fuss & O’Neill has conducted AHERA re-inspections at 30 school buildings for the City of Hartford as part of their AHERA management program.

We have also designed abatement of various asbestos-containing materials at 30 city schools, such as reroofing at 5 schools and boiler/chiller replacements at 4 schools.

Assessments included asbestos, lead-based paint, radon, underground storage tank, PCB, and mold and spore surveys.

Following completion of the surveys, we developed comprehensive plans for asbestos and lead-based paint abatement, as well as an underground storage tank removal and contaminated soil remediation program for two of the schools.
