Fuss & O’Neill provided structural engineering services to assist the City of Pittsfield to develop an inventory of over 130 bridges and culverts within the City limits. A priority list of maintenance and repair requirements was created and subsequent bridge repair work was performed on a number of city bridges.

Our team inspected and evaluated the City-owned structures that are not routinely inspected by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. We developed a comprehensive repair recommendation and a priority repair work list as well as an order-of-magnitude cost estimate for each bridge. Subsequently, we have provided the repair work for a number of priority bridges under this work list. A few of the bridges include: East New Lenox Road bridge, West Union Street culvert repair, and Onota Lake Boulevard bridge replacement, and Hancock Road bridge repair.
