Fuss & O’Neill, in coordination with the City of Pittsfield and MassDOT provided the conceptual design and is completing the final construction plans for the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail extension.

The trail extension will provide a bike and pedestrian trail connecting the north section of Pittsfield with the existing Ashuwillticook Trail in Lanesborough and Cheshire. The trail will provide an alternative pedestrian and bicycle connection to numerous neighborhoods, shopping, and community resources. Fuss & O’Neill is providing the MassDOT reviewed conceptual, final, and right-of-way design plans. Construction is expected to begin in 2018.
