Fuss & O’Neill prepared all of the environmental permitting for this 6 MW renewable biomass (wood chip) boiler for a large commercial greenhouse operation.

The project was fast-tracked due to rising energy costs, and involved analysis of air pollution control technologies, emissions modeling, stack testing, and grant writing. This facility was granted a flexible permit that allows them to use a fuel that will result in very significant reductions in energy costs over fossil fuels, while also reducing greenhouse emissions and providing renewable energy.
