Fuss & O’Neill recently completed design and construction for a multi-million dollar closed loop wastewater system at this state-of-the-art aerospace facility in Windsor Locks, CT.

For more than 20 years, Fuss & O’Neill has worked on various environmental and facility-related projects within this aerospace facility. The facility’s closed loop wastewater system required a series of unit operation replacements, upgrades, and additions.
Fuss & O’Neill took over design of the closed loop system in the preliminary stages, developing final design documents and replacing multi-media filters to provide cleaner water to a reverse osmosis (RO) system.

Construction, including the building envelope and the mechanical/electrical interfaces of the wastewater recycle system, was performed by Fuss & O’Neill under a design-build contract with the facility.
