334 Winchester Avenue – Science Park

Fuss & O’Neill completed due diligence planning, design, permitting, and construction administration on behalf of Winstanley Enterprises to restore a 230,000 square foot former manufacturing plant to productive use. The 15-acre brownfields site faced several contamination issues.

Our role entailed investigation, analysis, and planning for remedial alternatives with the Winstanley team and site tenant, Yale University. We compiled local and state permits for zoning, remediation, building decontamination, soil management, and site generated traffic. Our team completed the site survey, planning, engineering, utilities, and handling of state traffic commission approvals. We also provided Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) services under the CT DEEP property transfer program.

The Fuss & O’Neill team prepared and implemented a complex remedial action plan to ensure that appropriate safety and clean-up standards were met, improving the future of Science Park complex and its surrounding neighborhoods.
