Hartford, CT – Civil and environmental engineering firm Fuss & O’Neill announced the promotion of Shawn Martin, PE, to the position of Chief Operations Officer (COO).
Mr. Martin has more than 30 years of industry experience and since joining the firm in 2001, he has held roles including Project Manager, Vice President, Office Manager for our Providence, RI location, and most recently Senior Vice President and Central Region Manager, where he focused on managing operations for our four offices located in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Shawn has led a variety of projects and initiatives, demonstrating his expertise in land development including surveying, land planning, environmental site assessments, stormwater management, water distribution, and wastewater collection and treatment systems. As Chief Operations Officer, Shawn will be in charge of all company operations, working with firm leaders to manage performance, increase efficiencies, and identify growth opportunities.
Shawn has been an integral part of Fuss & O’Neill’s sustained growth, and I could not think of a better candidate to step into the role of Chief Operations Officer.
