In John Chambers’ recent blog about Fuss & O’Neill’s expansion, he discussed how our new offices are part of the firm’s strategic growth plan. While we continue to support a hybrid workplace, we have also found success in providing our employees with physical spaces to collaborate. Continuing to follow this plan of expansion, the firm has opened a second Vermont office in Williston.
This location was selected because it is a vibrant area of progressive growth. The area is home to multiple colleges, a regional medical center, an international airport, and a diverse collection of industry and commercial entities. This office also gives us a footprint in the northern regions of New England and New York. It allows us to better serve our existing clients in Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York, offering more flexibility to be on site and to offer expanded services in the areas of hazardous building materials, health and safety services, environmental assessment and remediation, brownfields, and climate resiliency. Our growth plan outlines resource development in those areas and to offer services in the transportation, site/civil, and structural engineering fields.

Our team is currently working on the remediation of the Burlington High School site, as well as with our area medical centers in Vermont and New York, colleges and universities in the area, and a variety of public schools throughout the state. We serve several municipalities in the area, including Burlington, South Burlington, and Ferrisburgh, providing services ranging from transportation and stormwater to environmental site assessments. Our team also works with state agencies and Regional Planning Commissions in the area, as we continue to invest in the growth of this region.
Having an office in Williston provides opportunities for the many talented technical professionals to stay in this area and work on the projects that are in their communities. This area is home to many tourist attractions, which is supported by a network of infrastructure, community assets, and businesses, and it has a robust manufacturing presence. Our Williston office can support these communities and companies as they grow and adapt to a changing economy and to a changing climate.
If you have a project you would like to discuss, I would love to talk to you and see how our technical experts can help you achieve your project goals.
