With more than two decades of landscape architecture and urban planning experience, Ian leads a variety of design-focused projects that all feature placemaking at their core. Ian has a particular passion for downtown and waterfront revitalization work, green infrastructure, open space planning, and flood resilience projects. He has presented throughout the country on the importance of integrating planning and design with the understanding of scale and context when applying the principles of urbanism. A champion of collaboration, Ian has been the team leader for dozens of design charrettes and community-based forums.
