Bob’s fascination with solving environmental hazard challenges in the built environment began early in his career as an architect. Eventually, it would lead him to the field of environmental consulting, where he began a second career as a technical designer for hazardous materials abatement.
Today, Bob is a nationally-recognized leader in environmental consulting and serves as Fuss & O’Neill’s Buildings and Hazardous Materials Business Line Leader. In addition to managing the technical side of the work, Bob focuses on business development, and growth of the group, Bob serves as a mentor to the company’s young professionals and enjoys mentoring young staff, helping them develop into trusted team members and future leaders of the environmental consulting industry.
Bob loves working to address client needs on a diverse range of environmental, renovation and demolition projects. He values having the opportunity to build trusted partnerships with his clients to address their unique challenges, and he has the technical expertise to find the right solution. He has extensive experience with asbestos, lead paint, and PCBs, with a special emphasis on PCBs in building materials, indoor air quality, mold and radon. He has expertise in brownfield site investigation and remediation for developers and municipalities.
