Course Description

Fuss & O’Neill is pleased to offer Initial and Refresher Training courses for Class A/B UST Operators of qualifying Underground Storage Tank (UST) systems.

In order to maintain certification, Class A/B UST Operators must participate in an approved Refresher Training program (or take the Initial Training again). The Refresher Training program testing requirements are less stringent than the Initial training (a shorter exam; 20 questions). CT DEEP has approved Fuss & O’Neill’s Refresher Training course content and exams.

Methodology

Classes will be conducted by a qualified trainer certified as a Class A/B UST Operator. PowerPoint presentations will be used to highlight training topics, with a copy provided to attendees. Other reference materials will also be provided. Use of the training handouts are allowed during the exam.

Audience

Class A/B UST Operators are generally required at facilities with underground storage tank systems which serve purposes other than on-site heating (including fleet fueling and emergency generators). Please call for assistance if you are not sure whether your facility is required to have Class A/B UST  Operators.
