Superload Engineering and Route Analysis

Fuss & O’Neill supports heavy haul operators by providing structural analyses required for superload permitting. Through Fuss & O’Neill’s Superload Engineering and Route Analysis services and our Truck Move Program,  our structural and civil engineers perform route analyses using GIS mapping to identify bridges and other structures along the proposed routes.

Using finite element structural modeling and load distribution calculations, we assess bridge and other structural capacities and determine if alternate routes are necessary. Our engineers escort superload moves and coordinate with state police and field teams to monitor bridge crossings.

Fuss & O’Neill’s comprehensive project support ensures the efficient and safe passage of oversized, non-divisible shipments.
