Manchester, CT – ENR New England has announced the 2020 ENR New England Best Projects winners. Fuss & O’Neill is honored to have been on the teams for two of the winning projects.

Best K-12 Education: King Open/Cambridge Street Upper Schools and Community Complex (Cambridge, MA)
Fuss & O’Neill provided hazardous materials inspection, design, technical specifications, and project monitoring and construction administration/project monitoring for the demolition of multiple existing buildings to create a 273,000 ft2 multi-use educational complex that is the first Net Zero Emissions and first LEED v4 Platinum school in Massachusetts.

Award of Merit Highway/Bridge: Beehive Bridge (New Britain, CT)
Fuss & O’Neill provided civil, traffic and structural engineering services for this innovative bridge and streetscape project that established safe multimodal passage, reconnected divided neighborhoods, and used public art to create a sense of community.
