Providence, RI – Civil and environmental engineering firm Fuss & O’Neill has promoted Shawn Martin, PE to the role of Central Region Manager. Fuss & O’Neill supports the entirety of New England and defines its Central Region as Rhode Island and Massachusetts, in which the firm has four offices (Boston, Quincy, and Springfield, MA, as well as Providence, RI). The Central Region is supported by more than 75 employees and provides services in all five Business Lines: Buildings and Hazardous Materials, Environmental and Facility Services, Community Development, Transportation, and Water and Natural Resources.
Shawn has spent the majority of his nearly three decades of experience with Fuss & O’Neill, most recently as the manager of the firm’s Providence, RI office. As Central Region Manager, Shawn will coordinate with Central Region office managers, lead strategic growth initiatives, and lead new client and market pursuits. Shawn welcomes this new challenge, noting: “I’ve spent the majority of my career here at Fuss & O’Neill. I’ve worked with a great team through tremendous growth of the company in the Central Region – long before we even called it the Central Region! I’m looking forward to the challenges and opportunities to promote further growth and continue to work with so many great people, just in a slightly different role. I can’t wait to get started!”
Shawn will report to John Chambers, PG, LSP, Executive Vice President of Operations, who is excited about Shawn’s new position. “I’ve been lucky to work with Shawn for many years. I trust him to make well-informed decisions, and his integrity will be the foundation of his success as the Regional Manager.”
Shawn’s promotion to Central Region Manager is effective immediately.
