Fuss & O’Neill Hires New Associate, James Otis, PE

After 15 years working with other firms, James “Jim” Otis, PE, has rejoined Fuss & O’Neill. Jim previously worked here from 1987 – 2003, and returns as an Associate in the Water & Natural Resources Department.

Jim has spent most of his career in Connecticut, managing and providing support for dam, bridge, solid waste, and other civil/environmental engineering projects throughout the state. Jim’s return to Fuss & O’Neill was prompted by a desire to finish his career at a growing multi-disciplinary firm that offers a variety of professional services. “I believe the diversity of projects that Fuss & O’Neill does, and the broad expertise of its personnel, contribute to the success of this company. Fuss & O’Neill is a full-service consulting firm with a solid reputation throughout New England.” Jim’s firsthand knowledge of the highly-qualified staff  here was another factor in his return.

As part of the Water & Natural Resources Department, Jim will work on dam repair/removal, stormwater and utilities, compliance/permitting, green infrastructure, and bridge repair/replacement projects. Jim will report to Phil Forzley, PE, who was very excited about Jim’s return. “I’m so thrilled that Jim is back! Jim brings decades of experience that will help our clients and help our junior staff. But, mainly, I’m happy to have this very talented colleague back home.”

Fuss & O’Neill’s Water & Natural Resources Department provides restoration, stormwater, flood control, wastewater, dam repair/replacement, coastal resiliency, wetlands, permitting, green infrastructure, and environmental compliance services throughout New England.
