Fuss & O’Neill Elects New Board of Director Members

Kathy Nanowski, CPSM and Ted DeSantos, PE, PTOE and have been elected to Fuss & O’Neill’s Board of Directors. Kathy and Ted join Kevin Grigg, Tim St. Germain, Dean Audet, Craig Lapinski, and Erik Mas as the representatives for the company’s shareholders.

Kathy Nanowski joined the firm eight years ago as a Marketing Coordinator. Now the Director of Marketing and Business Development, Kathy is responsible for the planning and implementation of business strategies. Kathy has created and/or reshaped many internal processes, including the Client Feedback Program, Business Line and Regional Strategic Planning, and the Business Procurement Process. She is part of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisition Team and was integral in the firm’s recent restructuring and works with all levels of staff to identify, cultivate, and maintain client relationships. Kathy is a past President of the Connecticut Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and speaks at many conferences nationwide on how to measure sales success along with prepositioning.

Ted DeSantos has been with the firm for more than 20 years and serves as the Community Development Business Line Leader. In this capacity, Ted leads the real estate, education, healthcare, and higher education markets. Ted started with the firm in 1997 as a Transportation Engineer, where he developed a passion for complete streets and the notion that roadways could provide safe transport for more than just motor vehicles. Ted has led several major projects throughout his tenure, including the Stamford Urban Transitway, 100 College Street in New Haven, and Beehive Bridge in New Britain (which is currently under construction). Ted has served the last nine years on the Board of the CT Main Street Center, including serving as the Chair. He is currently on the Board of the New England Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
