Manchester, CT – Fuss & O’Neill’s CEO, Kevin Grigg, PE was recently appointed to the Governor’s Council on Climate Change (GC3). Governor Lamont has charged the Council with reducing the state’s contribution to climate change while ensuring that we are prepared for future climate change and its effect on our communities. The GC3 includes 23 members from state agencies, quasi-public agencies, businesses, local governments, and nonprofit organizations.

Erik Mas, PE is a Vice President with Fuss & O’Neill and leads the firm’s Watershed and MS4 Services Practice. Erik will bring his regional experience in these areas to the GC3 Working and Natural Lands Working Group in the Rivers Subgroup. This group will evaluate the role of nature-based solutions (e.g., scaling up the preservation and restoration of forests and coastal wetlands, green and natural infrastructure, and agricultural lands) in climate change mitigation and adaptation and how to best incorporate the economic, social, and environmental co-benefits of these solutions into Connecticut’s climate change planning strategies.

Dean Audet, PE, is a Senior Vice President with Fuss & O’Neill and is the firm’s expert with regard to resilience project funding. Dean has helped numerous clients throughout New England with creative and innovative approaches to their projects. Dean has joined the GC3 Financing Adaptation Working Group. This group will identify innovative and practical options to finance climate adaptation and mechanisms to scale investment in the broad spectrum of climate resilience strategies and solutions.
