AIA Connecticut – Allied Members of The Year Award

Allied Member of the Year – Cathy DeFrances-Vittorio, Fuss & O’Neill
Recognizes Allied Members who are not architects, but by their interest, participation, and concern have promoted and contributed significantly to the profession of architecture through their membership and participation in the Connecticut Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

Cathy DeFrances-Vittorio
Fuss & O’Neill

It’s not surprising that Cathy loves business development in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. Putting a successful, client-focused team together is like completing a complex puzzle, and after more than 30 years, no two puzzles have been alike. Over the course of her career, Cathy has held various positions with architectural firms, engineers, real estate developers, and construction companies that led her to Fuss & O’Neill where her reputation for integrity and honesty, as well as her down-to-earth and collaborative manner, has been instrumental in her success.

Professional accomplishments include a lifetime achievement award from the Connecticut Society for Marketing Professionals (SMPS) where she has been a member since 2001 and a past-president (twice). She serves on the advisory board of the ACE Mentor Program in Hartford, is co-chair of the allied committee for the Connecticut AIA, the programs committee for Professional Women in Construction, and although her game is hardly noteworthy (but always enthusiastic), the golf committee for Connecticut Building Congress.

Congratulations Cathy!
