Bridge Engineering

As part of our structural engineering group, we provide bridge engineering services to municipalities, state agencies, architects, industrial, and private clients for vehicular, pedestrian, and railroad bridge projects. Projects range from inspection and evaluation of existing structures to the design of bridge repairs, rehabilitations, replacements, and new structures.

Climate Resiliency

Our engineering and scientific professionals work together in developing coastal resiliency solutions to combat climate change, sea-level rise, and storm surge. They carefully assess areas of vulnerability, both in an immediate sense, as well as future planning. Construction Management

Our Design Build team has the experience and technical expertise to provide construction management for a large range of multi-discipline projects, successfully taking each project from concept to completion. To meet each client’s unique needs, we can draw from our trusted network of subcontractors, or partner with a team assembled by the owner of the project. We have the flexibility to work on a percentage basis and, if requested, can provide a project’s Gross Maximum Price.

Dam Safety Engineering

Our clients benefit from decades of dam engineering experience. Whether conducting emergency dam inspections or repairs, designing dam removals in the context of watershed restoration, or facilitating compliance with new state dam regulations, our expertise helps clients achieve project objectives while minimizing liability.

Decentralized Wastewater Systems

It has become increasingly costly to provide public sewers to rural areas on a per capita basis. In many areas, decentralized wastewater management serves as an alternative to the “Big Pipe” solution. Offering a non-biased approach to wastewater management, we provide on-site, cluster, and community solutions, with or without nutrient removal, tailored to meet the socioeconomic and environmental needs of our clients.

Ecological and Wetland Services

Green Infrastructure

Wastewater Management Systems

We provide planning, design, and construction services for wastewater solutions ranging from decentralized management to conventional collection and treatment systems. Our collection system experience includes gravity and low pressure sewer design, I/I evaluations, and pump station evaluations and upgrades. We design treatment plant upgrades to provide better energy efficiency, nutrient removal and capacity expansion. Our team has been instrumental in securing grants and loans for client projects, and helps communities to establish regulations and better manage their wastewater infrastructure.

Water Distribution Systems

Water distribution systems are composed of storage tanks, valves, pumps, and pipes that transport clean and potable water to consumers. We analyze and design water mains, water storage tanks, and booster pumping stations, and our multi-disciplinary team provides the mechanical, electrical, and control expertise to clients building new or improving the efficiency of existing water infrastructure.

Water Quality Planning and Management

Watershed Management Planning
