Fuss & O’Neill Welcomes Karen Prescott to Community Development Business Line

Boston, MA – Civil and environmental engineering firm Fuss & O’Neill has hired Karen Prescott to join the firm’s Community Development Business Line. As an Associate and Business Line Manager, Karen will draw on her more than thirty years of experience in both the public and private sectors across New England to enhance the firm’s relationships with architects, developers, and communities as they pursue and execute projects. Karen’s blend of experience within commercial real estate and development, municipal economic development, and public-private-partnerships (P3) has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of funding opportunities and creative development scenarios.

Based out of Fuss & O’Neill’s Boston office, Karen will pursue opportunities within the greater Boston areas, and will utilize her relationships from her past positions in New Hampshire and Connecticut to drive business opportunities throughout New England. “I have spent the majority of my career in helping develop or enhance community and public assets, and to be part of a firm that does that so frequently, is very exciting to me.”

Fuss & O’Neill’s Community Development Business Line Leader Jamie Brätt believes that Karen’s background, experience, and attitude will be a great fit with Fuss & O’Neill, noting: “Karen brings a great understanding of the multidisciplinary nature of development. Her collaborative approach with clients and her creativity in securing funding for projects, both public and private, are great assets for our team as we look to continue our growth in more urban areas and throughout the region.”
