Someone must have fixed the flux capacitor because it’s clearly 1997 if we’re just starting our company blog! Yup, that’s definitely Third Eye Blind on the radio, and has anyone seen that new movie Titanic yet? I think it’s going to be a hit…

So why start a blog two decades after inception? Well, we could argue “better late than never”…but that argument is about as solid as “because I said so” (sorry mom and dad – I didn’t buy it when I was six, and I’m not buying it now). The truth is, we weren’t sure anyone would want to listen to what a civil engineering firm had to say about anything. But the more we thought about it, the more we realized that our work is about people. It’s about listening to our clients and transforming their communities. It’s about cleaning up resources for public use. It’s about taking something underused or undervalued and transforming it into a communal space.

And the people who create these designs are amazing, selfless collaborators.

So we’re giving this blog to our people. They have a lot to say. And we think you’ll want to listen.
