Fuss & O’Neill has been recognized by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection as having experts in Water Resources Engineering. We have been retained to provide a wide range of engineering and ecological restoration services involving dams and watercourses in Connecticut.

Our assignments have included investigation of deteriorated dams and dam removal feasibility, design of dam reconstruction/repair, preparation of Emergency Action Plans, investigation of shoreline erosion, investigation of hydrologic adequacy, as well as design of spillway reconstruction and new outlet control structures. To complete our work, our team utilized agency-accepted modeling tools including HEC-RAS, HEC-GEORAS, HEC-HMS, and HydroCAD. The TR-20 hydrologic methodology is common to these models.
