Cooperative Way (Loop Road) Extension

Fuss & O’Neill worked closely with the Town of Pembroke and several landowners to plan and construct a new town road to open up land for commercial and industrial development. The roadway would add a fourth leg at the signalized U.S. Route 3/Route 106 intersection to provide direct access to the new roadway.

The project included more than a half-mile of roadway improvements to Routes 3 and 106 to accommodate turn lanes, ramp reconfiguration, and signalized intersection improvements. Additionally, our team completed survey, design, construction documents, and permitting for 1600 feet of new town roadway to access private property for development.

Fuss & O’Neill was responsible for preparing bidding documents and providing construction administration and observation services on behalf of the Town throughout the two-year construction period.

The Town developed a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District to fund the project, and hired Fuss & O’Neill to complete the design, permitting, construction administration, and on-site inspection for the project. The project included 1600 feet of new town roadway, including utilities to serve future development.
