Fuss & O’Neill Welcomes Sara Morrison, MLA, WEDG

Manchester, CT – Sara Morrison, MLA, WEDG has joined civil and environmental engineering firm Fuss & O’Neill as a Business Line Manager for Climate Adaptation within the Water and Natural Resources Business Line. In her new position, Sara’s work will focus on the conception and planning of climate adaptation projects, specifically on flood risk reduction, extreme heat, and coastal resilience (with an emphasis on nature-based solutions).

Sara has a background in systems-based, urban landscape architecture and climate resilience projects. Sara’s work has focused on the intersection between land and water while helping communities thrive in such complex and dynamic environments. Her experience is tied to the management, planning, and design of climate risk reduction projects of varying scales in both coastal and inland environments. Sara’s expertise is in integrating natural and engineered systems using nature-based solutions to achieve socially-resilient, economically-viable, and environmentally-sustainable projects. Sara is a member of the American Society of Adaptation Professionals (ASAP), Connecticut Association of Flood Managers, Massachusetts Association for Floodplain Management, and American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).
