Manchester, CT – Civil and environmental engineering firm Fuss & O’Neill welcomes Jamie Brätt as an Associate Business Line Manager for Community Development. In her new role, Jamie will collaborate with public and private developers to navigate the complexities of signature building projects, both new construction and adaptive reuse.
With 17 years of professional experience, Jamie brings with her expertise in zoning regulations, urban planning, placemaking, and community and economic development. She is known for her “Get to Yes” creative problem solving, which she has applied in the context of leveraging public funding, project permitting, reviewing major applications for urban development, and site selection. Her experience is tied to projects like streetscape improvements, community master plans, transit-oriented development, brownfield redevelopment, and historic renovation projects. Jamie energizes teams across multiple disciplines, always working towards executing innovative solutions to advance community growth.
Jamie attended Trinity College, majoring in economics and ethics. Upon graduation, Jamie worked in commercial real estate and community development in Washington, D.C. Jamie returned to Connecticut to serve as a senior official in local municipal governments before joining the private sector. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for a local charitable giving nonprofit: The Betty Knox Foundation.
