The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) has re-issued the General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater and Dewatering Wastewaters from Construction Activities (General Permit) effective October 1, 2013. All new qualifying projects are subject to the revised General Permit and should comply with its requirements including but not limited to plan preparation, inspections, monitoring, and reporting. All existing projects are required to re-register and update their Stormwater Pollution Control Plans (SPCP) by February 1, 2014.
