Scituate resident receives promotion at Fuss & O’Neill

Scituate resident Dustin Diedricksen was recently promoted to senior project manager for civil and environmental engineering firm, Fuss & O’Neill.

Diedricksen has a background in environmental management and sustainability with a focus on environmental toxicology. He has completed a wide range of projects throughout New England involving hazardous building materials and indoor air quality for commercial, private, municipal, residential and educational clients. His 13 years of professional experience includes inspection, design and specification, management planning and risk assessment services relating to the as-built environment. He has knowledge and experience with asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor air quality and polychlorinated biphenyls. His principle strengths include regulatory knowledge, technical abatement specification development, contract document preparation, bid submittal review and construction management.

He co-hosted the HGTV show “Tiny House Builders” with his brother, and they continue workshops and speaking engagements throughout the country to promote the use of salvaged, recycled, reclaimed and sustainable building materials in structural, design and art elements.

Diedricksen resides in Scituate with his wife, Dawn, and their two children. He is a member of the Boston Society of Architects and the Boston Preservation Alliance.
