Fuss & O’Neill was the environmental consultant for all three phases of the redevelopment of Southfield Village.

Hired by the Stamford Housing Authority and co-developer Beacon Corcoran/Jennison, we conducted an initial Phase I site assessment and comprehensive hazardous materials survey of the property during the first stage of the project. We updated our assessment on an as-needed basis in accordance with financing requirements.

During the demolition of the existing 340 apartment units, our group conducted project monitoring and management of the removal of asbestos, lead, and other hazardous materials.

The redevelopment aims to rebuild lower density, spacious residential units with the goal of eventual home ownership.
