Since the mid-1990s, Fuss & O’Neill has provided a range of engineering services to Eversource and its individual operating units to help the company maintain compliance with federal and state environmental regulations. Our work in CT, MA, and NH has required the coordination of many regulatory agencies including MassDEP and the Army Corps of Engineers.

Projects have included environmental assessments for real estate holdings and land acquisitions by the utilities, and preparation of environmental compliance documents for utility-owned facilities.

We developed design plans to manage soil and groundwater from construction activities, and coordinated environmental response actions to meet MA Contingency Plan requirements. Our experts performed botanical and wetland surveys and mitigation plans in an effort develop best management practices for the company.
