Groundwater Development & Permitting
Fuss & O’Neill recognizes that an adequate water supply is perhaps the most basic requirement of private and municipal development. In cases where a groundwater supply may be a viable option, our hydrogeologists and engineers provide clients with an understanding of both the natural resource itself and the necessary infrastructure to make use of that resource.
We routinely conduct aquifer pumping tests using electronic data collection supplemented by three-dimensional groundwater modeling to assess impacts to hydrologic resources including wetlands, surface water bodies, and other wells. We use these data to support applications for groundwater diversion permits. We also assist state and municipal governments with developing wellhead protection programs and municipal aquifer protection ordinances.
