Before entering the private sector, Blake Burgess worked as a professional geologist for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control’s Bureau of Solid and Hazardous Waste Management and Bureau of Water Pollution Control. In those positions, he focused on wastewater, solid waste and Superfund programs. Blake has managed scores of environmental assessments, audits and remediation projects throughout the Southeast.
