Fuss & O’Neill Hires Culver

Manchester, CT – Fuss & O’Neill recently hired Rick Culver to join the Energy and Facilities Department. He brings 34 years of experience to his role as senior mechanical engineer.

Culver spent the entirety of his career at Saren Engineering, Inc., a small, family-operated consulting firm. Throughout his career, he focused on energy studies, HVAC design, decentralization, and co-generation projects. Coming to Fuss & O’Neill was an opportunity to work on new projects and with new industries.

Fuss & O’Neill’s senior vice president of energy and facilities, Christopher Ecsedy, PE, LEP, was happy to welcome Culver to the team: “Rick brings a depth of practical experience that will help us improve our services. Coming from a small firm, Rick had to wear a lot of hats. That kind of critical thinking and perspective will allow us to take a new approach to our work. He brings an individual approach to a team dynamic, and we are excited to see how this will translate to improved efficiency.”

“I’m excited by the diversity of assignments at Fuss & O’Neill. Engineering challenges me and I like to be involved in different types of projects. Fuss & O’Neill is a chance to expand my engineering horizons and to work with new people. I like that I’ll be part of a team and look forward to the results of collaboration.”

Culver joins an established team that provides services in the fields of energy auditing, HVAC upgrades, property/building assessments, industrial design, storage tank removal/replacement, and environmental compliance to New England communities. He will be an integral part of the Energy and Facilities team, serving as an experienced mechanical engineer and as a mentor and resource for the engineering team.
