Erik Mas, PE

Vice President, Water Environment and Natural Resources

Erik was drawn to the water resources profession during his undergraduate days at Tufts University and his graduate studies at Princeton University. He started at Fuss & O’Neill after working as a hydrologist for the National Weather Service, and currently manages a group of engineers, scientists, and planners who specialize in surface water quality, ecological services, and environmental impact assessment.

Responsible for managing projects, overseeing operations, and developing business for his group, Erik enjoys working with his dedicated team to come up with creative solutions to both simple and complex projects. He loves working with clients who are committed and passionate about what they do, and who value his role as a trusted advisor and team member.

Erik’s expertise is rooted in his water resources background and includes stormwater and watershed management, as well as water and natural resource permitting. He also specializes in broader environmental planning and documentation for state and federal projects. Erik has authored state and local stormwater design guidance and policy, and manages on-call contracts to provide environmental impact assessment services for a variety of public agencies.
